its my story and its pretty long Lana thought I have gone From a simple girl who lived next door to what she had become today, her journey had been made on a bizarre and trying road. The one constant was her love for Clark Kent and even when he made it hard for her to do so, she had never stopped loving him. And still hasn’t given up and never give up ever. Perhaps someday, she would regain his love. With the help of the Prometheus suit, she would be able to live as long as or longer than Clark. When Lois passed away, her time would finally come and she could claim Clark’s heart once again. Until that day, she resolved herself to lead her life in a way that would never make Clark doubt her values, morals or her dedication to the same principals that he embodied. She would work as his equal but not as his partner to help mankind. And someday in sixty or seventy years, she would have her opportunity to step in to be his partner in life and in work for the rest of their lives. And one thing was for sure was that she would live forever Jor-El made her that way for Clark and gave her all the abilities Clark would have once he got his powers and fulfilled his destiny Jor-El said that she would make a better partner to be with Clark for eternity. And he even made her a super suit that was better than the Prometheus suit.

Lana was certain of two things: her love for Clark was strong enough to wait for her time to come; and his love for her would always be there for her to reclaim when he was left alone by the passing of Lois. The small amount of time that Lois would live compared to the time they had left in the world was miniscule. She would bide her time faithfully. Keeping that long-term view of someday finally reconnecting and having her man for the rest of their lives. I mean Clark may love Lois now but eventually she will break his heart and he will run to me and I will super speed to him and run into his arms and hug him and kiss him and tell him she has never stopped Loving him and still loves him. And that’s exactly what happened 20 years had passed and Lana still looked the same as did Clark. on a fine day in march it was bright and sunny she was humming to herself in her brand new house she couldn’t believe it Ollie had bought her a three story house for the day when Clark came to her. And sure enough he came knocking and she ran to the door and opened it and he rushed in crying he said Lana! Lana! Lana! Over and over again and then she ran up to him at super speed and wrapped her small arms around his strong ones and he wrapped his strong ones around her shaking and sobbing. She just murmured it will be okay and then lead him to the Kitchen where she made two large coffees in a second and then she sat down on a leather couch in the tastefully decorated living room. And he sat down and pulled her in his lap.

Then she rubbed his back and wrapped her small arms around him again as he put his strong ones around her then finally he began his story taking a big sip of his coffee. He said Lois was at the Daily Planet and she said in a tired voice Smallville were over. Then I ran to you because I knew that you were the only person that could ever make me feel whole and better. Again I had ran to you to come into your arms he said sobbing even harder he even harder he continued, because you’re truly the only woman who cares this much about me. And he then began telling her about how Jor-El has put her in suspended animation not Lois but you Lana! Because he admitted that Lois wasn’t the one and said to me that Dr.Grohl had found a way to get rid of the Kryptonite 19 years ago, and I ran to you I know its wrong and you probably hate me he said sadly after recounting it. Actually Clark Jor-El told me all that and No Clark Kent actually I have been waiting all these years for you to say it. And we’re the same age and still look like were 20 and Lois looks what 40 she asked? 42 actually Clark said crying still.

Listen Clark Kent I have only ever truly loved one man and it was always you I know we have hurt each other but if we could move past it I don’t obsess over Killing Lex .we both took Care of that she said smiling. Really Lana? You mean you truly want to love me still? Yes Clark Kent there had never been a man I have ever loved more than you. Thank You Lana he took her in his arms and spun her around again and again enjoying each other. And then Lana woke up and saw Clark looking at her and she said wow great dream. Except for the fact that Clark was still hers and now sleeping with her snuggled up contently. Clark woke up along with Lana he felt so empty still and he needed her touch her angelic voice her smell everything. So Lana did the one thing she could think of as she saw him empty and sad like she felt. She kissed him. Her lips were heaven to him. It felt…so good…so….right. His legs slid down to the ground as his resolve started to fall. With her free hand she grabbed his other hand and pulled both of his hands and placed them on her hips. She wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. He felt her love in their kiss. He felt the emptiness slowly start to fade. The darkness was lightening up. He found the light through the dark nightmare. Clark pulled away and rested his forehead on hers. When he opened his eyes he saw that hers were still closed.She licked her lips and savored the feeling of his lips on hers. It felt so good to feel them again; so soft and smooth she felt whole soon as she melted away they were so good god! How she had missed them. He grasped her hips lightly and lifted her up and placed her on his lap; and she straddled him. but as he laid his head on her shoulder she wrapped her arms around his neck even more. He hugged her like a lifeline. They held on to each other like a lifeline.He found the light. He found his hope. He found his angel and he held on to her and vowed to never let her go again. He would never be alone again. She was going to make sure of it. Through thick and thin, they will be together. She had known it since she had been in his arms and danced with him and then kissed him that he was the one and always would be. That is why In he 20 years of waiting feeling sad, lonely and empty she tried to cheer up and lift spirits she knew she would be his partner In saving mankind no matter what challenges they faced they would be together there was nothing hesitant at that they had eternal love and knew it.

Apparently the day Lois broke up with Clark was the day she died and to make matters worse she announced it to everyone proudly just before. It had been a dark and cloudy day when Lois died it was about a week ago and When Dr. Grohl told her that he had found a way to safely siphon away and neutralize the Kryptonite radiation absorbed by the Prometheus suit, Lana knew that she could finally be with Clark again and turn those precious few days into a lifetime. Nothing could stand in the way now for a fulfilling and productive life with the man she had loved for so many years.

Then she had come to Clark at the funeral she took Clark’s hand and squeezed it gently holding him close to her as he held on closely, embracing her the way the way she had dreamed of in the recent years. Lois had been 32 when she died and Jor-El had done her a big favor after she had gotten the Kryptonite out he had made her immortal like Clark she was able to have babies wit him safely and the y both had all the powers that they had needed to fulfill their destiny.

Clark then came up with Lana holding her hand and he had said. Ladies and Gentleman all of Lois’ close friends and Family I knew Lois and Lois Lane was a smart,bright,beautiful woman with all the perfect wits and fiery spirit to be a reporter she was one of the best he said with a smile. And I had loved her for a while we tried to communicate correctly and be in each other’s arms but no matter what we could never comprehend or understand each other and love each other well enough. But I stand as a witness of the beautiful bright Lois Lane and I recognize all her love and joy she had done for us all she was always there to comfort me most of the time. So may she rest in peace and know we all loved her and always will but I will In a friendly way. He gently kissed Lana and whispered softly speak she would want us to be happy. Lana said hello everyone I am Lana Kent everyone gasped sorry I mean I’m his fiancé anyway Lois Lane was truly a wonderful person and I can never repay her back for holding Clark together through all the tough times. Lois was my rival for Clark’s love and for a while she had it all but I have him now by my side and I’m very thankful for that. So please let us all remember her In good times.

Thank you they put two white roses they were holding on her grave. Everyone Clapped she was Ollie’s wife and Ollie and Tess stood up both dressed In black. Tess in a black blouse and In a Black suit that showed power her eyes bore sadness and she had a black trench coat on along with Black glossy boots. Ollie had on a black suit so did Clark. Lana wore a long black dress that showed her perfect figure and she had her hair in curls and she had on a black trench coat and glossy stiletto boots. She wore a Black veil but shortly Clark took it off and kissed her. They held hands and Ollie began to speak everyone Lois was well known as sarcastic, snobby, rude and army brat but truly she was brave courageous and feisty.

She was a great wife and I loved her she truly was great she may not be able to cook and I had to hire a chef but I loved her she was beautiful and wonderful in every way. But there is no way I could have wished for a better companion and here stands Tess Mercer my mercy who I now pronounce to you Tess Queen. And now I know it will take some time for you to heal but I want you to know that I love you so much and want to be with you I know you have never healed from me being with Lex but I want you to know that in his grave I Burned his body to ashes after ripping him apart. And I am over my obsession your love means more! Oh Lana!

Lana I should have don’t this before but I couldn’t so I will do it now Lana come with me to the Fortress and Lana said Clark this is where I went after Jor-El got out the Kryptonite and he gave me all the powers and you have them too and I know everything so even though I know how and I am perfect at it just take me flying to the top and kiss me you fool. Clark smiled lifted Lana into his arms, and then looked up, concentrating. After a moment they began to fly straight upwards. Lana turned her face toward Clark's and smiled widely, unable to believe they were actually flying. They flew to a platform on the top of a huge column of ice, high above the floor of the Fortress. Clark set Lana down and she stepped away from him, looking around in awe.again no matter how many times I come here I always feel at home she said sighing contently.

Oh Clark I love you so much as I love you he said. They flew back to where they were and smiled at each other. Clark held out his hand, showing Lana the huge lump of coal he had collected when he'd dashed home. He clenched his fist around it, and Lana watched in amazement as bight white and golden light shown from between his fingers as he squeezed it tightly. He opened his hand then, and blew away the coal dust, revealing a large perfect diamond. Lana looked at it and then at Clark in wonder. Clark smiled as he took out a gold ring band and placed the diamond on top of it, then used his heat vision to solder them together. He then went down on one knee in front of Lana, holding the ring up.Lana Elizabeth Lang I have loved you since the first moment I saw you I promise to be yours forever will you marry me? Lana looked down at him, overcome with emotion. A smile quickly graced her face as she extended her left hand toward him."Yes, Clark Kent I'll marry you, she answered softly, her eyes glistening with tears of joy she said and also I love you, too, Clark. And I need you more than I ever realized before. Yes, there's nothing I want more than to be your wife. There were more tears and they were streaming
down her face Clark wiped them away and Clark captured her lips with his own and caught her up into his arms, spinning her around as they both took delight in each other Lana wrapped her arms around his legs and they kept spinning around.

Then Lana said Clark lets go home. Clark kept Lana in his arms and held her bridal style and they ran off back to Lana’s house. And they saw everyone there looking bright and excited. We said everyone we have an announcement me and Lana are getting married. Lana had the happiest smile they had ever seen on her and she was glowing her face lit up excitedly.

Clark smiled with so much joy he kissed his fiancés lips and kissed her until they were breathless and heated from all the passion. They all smiled and Clapped and then said we are so happy for you Ollie, Tess said then they offered her a job at the Daily Planet as a full fledged reporter with huge pay and executive meetings and press conferences.

She said sure boss when do I come in? Well first of all I know that you like to run Isis so we need you to work 3 days a week and all press conferences can you handle that? Of course Lana beamed thank you that is truly an honor.

The only sad thing that everyone mourned was Lois’ she was dead and now she couldn’t see their happiness little did Lana know that she would be privileged with the birth of twins Lara and Joe the two perfect little angels. There was only one problem Lana’s babies would be mortal and not immortal. Then everyone went home and Lana thanked Ollie for the house it was a wonderful gift. Then suddenly Emily bounded in with AC at her side well really they were in each others arms but still. Emily! Lana screamed happily and ran over and hugged her like crazy.

Oh Lana! Emily said I have missed you so much I haven’t seen you in 3 months and now its Aqua man and Hot Flash the perfect team forever Emily said smiling dazzling blinding everyone for a moment. Emily will you be the maid of honor along with Chloe as Bridesmaids? Absolutely Lana but I have a question can we chat I have to tell you something. Anything Em Lana said happily her arm around Clark. Take a seat they all sat down on the leather couches. I am Hot Flash along with Aqua man here my man. I can do everything Clark can and more I can turn invisible and teleport. Wow Em that’s a lot and I have perfect swimming skills mostly me and AC handle the water missions. Well I hope you have a bright day Emily Clark said he gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek I’m so happy to see you and AC together Lana and Clark said in unison. Well AC couldn’t take his eyes off me then he took me in his arms and we walked outside in the moonlight on horses and we had so much fun. And well here we are a beautiful couple. Oh Em! Your hair Is so beautiful I mean look at it its down to your waist always in stylish styles and designer clothes and you have the perfect looks so do you Lana that’s why were best friends Emily said with a smile . AC said Love we better go I have a feeling Clark and Lana are in some serious need of sex after 20 years. Hey you know were immortal too don’t forget that honey.
With that Emily took AC’s hand and flew them home to the Penthouse. They slept In separate rooms and Emily shut the door. Oh she looked around and saw it was redecorated it was now a stylish pink. She had a studio and study in there and a huge bedroom sized bathroom then again she needed it for all her make up and hair stuff. A huge walk in closet she found two though and laughed the guys know me so well she changed into stylish pink silk pajamas and fell asleep content in her perfect world. Then Clark and Lana went upstairs to The Third Floor in Lana’s house Clark she said what’s mine is yours its our house ours she emphasized. Yes Love ours and we will be together forever and look like this forever which means… we can always look this great and go to parties and everything. I mean were supposed to be 40 by now and we look 20. About 30 minutes had gone by and Clark and Lana realized that everyone had gone and that they were alone. Clark Sheepishly smiled and gave Lana a quick wink. She confusedly raised her eyebrow and began to say, “Cla..” When before she knew it she was in their new bedroom dressed in her white silk pajamas She grinned and said, “Umm, Clark, do you know how I ended up like this?” He looked at her and grinned mischievously and she knew exactly what he had in mind. Awhile later they both fell asleep, Lana wrapped gently in Clark’s arms, just the way she liked it… The next morning the buzzer on the alarm started to beep. Clark and Lana both blinked their eyes open, and Lana let out a small giggle remembering the time they had fallen asleep in this very same bed and had been awaken by the same alarm clock with that one song playing, oh she couldn’t remember the what song that was. She wished she could. Clark asked her why she was laughing and she reminded him of that time as well…like he could ever forget! They laughed about how they had been caught while trying to sneak her out, thankful they didn’t have to do that anymore, and they just relaxed in bed awhile longer with Lana wrapped in Clark’s arms. “What’s that song that was playing that morning, do you remember Clark?” Lana asked. How could I forget? And he starts to sing…2 AM and she calls me 'cause I'm still awake,Can you help me unravel my latest mistake?…

And super speeds down the stairs to the Kitchen. A short while later Clark was headed down the stairs and Lana heard him so she super sped to meet him at the bottom of them. Hello Handsome she says with a smile. Good morning beautiful he said with a grin. She rolled her eyes and blushed as she heard those words. She loved to hear them though. How she had missed hearing that and how she had longed hearing that.Clark carried her into the kitchen and set her down gently though she said she wanted to go down In a second herself. She super sped him into a chair and she ran to the beautiful stove.

She sped around gathering everything onto a plate for him and toasting a piece of toast with her heat vision. She then brought it over to her and went back to retrieve some oranges and two glasses. She showed off by squeezing fresh orange juice right in front of Clark and handing him a glass. He laughed, “Nice Lana,” he said. I believe Jor-El made you train for 5 months In the Fortress to gain both abilities and knowledge. Yep she chirped he is the greatest father I could wish for. They enjoyed breakfast together for the first time in so long. They just lingered, staring into each other’s eyes for what seemed like an eternity. So long in fact that Lana had to use her personal reheat system to heat up all the food.
Clark kissed Lana once gently, pulled back and looked at her, then kissed her again gently. She couldn’t take it anymore. She grabbed the back of his head and pulled him in close kissing him passionately. Awhile later they broke the kiss. Then again Clark and Lana return to what they were doing before. The next few days were filled with Bliss and happiness and romance. Tess and Ollie told them that they could have a long romantic reunion and return when they were ready. They went to work and worked on articles then spent an enticing evening together full of romance and love. Clark and Ollie had been at the Penthouse for hours plotting their next moves for the mission. Lana and Chloe rushed into the drugstore and grabbed two tests, those first response ones. They paid and ran to the restroom.

They both did the test and came together to wait. A few minutes later they both checked their own test. Chloe looked up with an extremely giddy face and as she looked at Lana she was slightly concerned. Lana’s face was more of a look of terror than joy. They showed each other their sticks. They were BOTH pregnant. Lana was worried because she didn’t know this was possible with Clark being, well Clark. Chloe was ecstatic being able to go through her pregnancy at the same time as Lana and being able to have their kids grow up together. She knew why Lana was concerned though. They both were shocked that it was possible. Lana was a little preoccupied to be happy though. She had to find Clark. Lana decided to fly Chloe back to Smallville and wait for Clark’s return at Their huge house. This was the first time Chloe had been here and she was in total awe at the beauty of how Ollie had made and furnished this house. Lana always cleaned it to perfection till it was spotless and always cleaned up the mess.

Clark arrived at their house within seconds and sat down and hugged both Lana and Chloe and told them that Chloe was staying here in whatever room she wanted and she couldn’t refuse it because they could super speed her to the Hospital within seconds. And big surprise Lana said she was having twins and decided on Lara-El rose Kent and Joe Lewis Kent. Aka little Jor-El. Both were definitely pregnant he X-rayed them and saw little babies the size of peanuts In Lana and a bay inside Chloe. They led Chloe to her room and Chloe gasped. It had a big office and writing desk and a fluffy bed and huge closet pretty much every comfort she could need in her room here. Chloe fell asleep immediately in her bed and Lana helped her change into pajamas. Then Clark and Lana sped to the Fortress where Jor-El said Lana-El welcome back and Kal-El you as well my son.

So Kal-El I assume your wondering how Lana is pregnant. Yes Father Clark said anxiously. Well Kal-El my son Lana-El my daughter is able to be pregnant because I made her able ot have Children during her training And I knew she wanted 2 little babies so I gave Lana her wish and now she promised to name the babies after me and Lara I assume because she was sp Ecstatic. Yes Father their names are Joe Lewis Kent and Lara-El Rose Kent thank you Lana-El.

they are perfect names. Suddenly a beautiful voice Clark recognized as his mother Lara’s came ringing through Kal-El my son and Lana-El my daughter I am so happy to see you and I thought me and Jor-El could surprise you with this. Down came to people. His mother in a gauzy flowing white dress her long blonde hair fell down to the middle of her back and her blue eyes glowed with happiness and tears fell down her cheeks.
Jor-El was wearing a white shirt and Black Jacket with some kind of jeans ad shoes. His black hair gelled. Mom? Dad? Clark and Lana asked silently. Yes my son and Daughter it is me Lara and Jor-El your father and mother. Lana ran to Lara and embraced her tightly Clark slowly ran to Jor-El and hugged him. Oh Kal-El it’s so good to hear your voice and see you and hear you. Mom, Dad how is this possible? Well son we cloned ourselves and if we want to we can live forever as long as the Fortress isn’t destroyed.

Well then come on the family flew into the air to Clark and Lana’s big house. Wow my Kal-El and Lana-El your house is so beautiful! Thank you mother Lana said with a big smile on her face. I thought of you when I decorated it. Come on I will show you to your room. Lana led them to the second master suite and it was perfect created to have the full Kryptonian decorations styles, furniture everything. Tonight was the engagement Dinner it was at Lana’s house Ollie had added a special room that had a dining room and he tried to hire a chef but Lana and Lara cooked food from Recipes Lara made on Krypton. Lana dressed in a stylish bronze evening gown it accentuated all her curves and matched her perfect figure Lara did her make up and Martha came up to help Lana and when she saw Lara doing it her heart went crushed into pieces I mean Lara did help Clark with everything and when Martha saw Jor-El and Clark hug it was enough. She said hi Jor-El remember me? Ah yes Martha Kent hey Martha Clark kissed her cheek and gave her a hug. Lara styled Lana’s hair curly and down it went past her shoulders down to her waist and it now was half was up in a bun the rest down. Lara you’re the best mom ever I love you so much.

I love you too my sweet Lana-El as I love you too my sweet Kal-El. Lara was dressed in A blue Kryptonian evening attire. And Lana in bronze. Clark and Jor-El were in black tuxes and looked perfect like Father and son and they were both gorgeous. Lara wanted to cry she took picture after picture and hung up the family picture all over the house. Then the family arm in arm walked gracefully down the stairs. Everyone stared and Once the El family came down. Clark and Lana said everyone I would like you to meet the best parents ever Lara and Jor-El our parents. Ollie welcomed them and Lara hugged everyone and Jor-El gave them a handshake and hugged Clark and Lana’s close friends. Emily and Lara chatted and became great friends quickly. Jor-El and the guys too.

Then when Lara saw Martha she ran at super speed and gave her a big hug and Martha awkwardly hugged her back. Wow Clark, Lana who cooked all this food it tastes amazing everyone asked. Well as The El family we are very into perfecting everything so p-lease give a hand to my beautiful fiancé Lana and my beautiful perfect mother Lara. Everyone clapped and commented. Clark and Lana told of how they met at 5 in Nell’s flower shop and fell in love immediately though Lana wore a green Kryptonite necklace making Clark not able to go near her without going weak.
Then they finally said goodnight and everyone left and Lana had quickly run to the mall and got Lara clothes and a whole wardrobe with Ollie’s help. Lara and Jor-El went to bed after making love for a bit. And Lana and Clark fell asleep quickly In each other’s arms content.

A Promise is a PromiseChapter 1 – A Promise kept Lana is sitting in the mansion’s library writing a note to Lex. She is trying to express how she can’t be with him. After what she saw in the wine cellar, there is nothing that anyone could do to make her change her mind about leaving Lex for Clark. She loves him and after hearing him say to Chloe, “giving up Lana was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life.” It hit her, she truly loves Clark; she’s been denying it this whole time. As all these things were running through her mind he was standing in the doorway, staring at her. She could sense his eyes on her and had to see if it really was him, turning her head, she saw that it was, it was Clark Kent, the man of her dreams, “Clark,” she said with emotion. “I cannot let you go through with this,” he said with emotion. Then he starts walking towards her, “not until you know everything.” Lana starts to get emotional because she already knows a lot. So she puts down her letter and stands up to walk towards him, “Clark, its ok, you don’t have to explain.” “I owe it to you.” He says puzzled at Lana response because she’s always wanted to know his secret, why doesn’t she want to know now. “No…..you don’t owe me anything,” she said shaking her head. “I’m the one that’s been in denial……..and I thought that the love that I have for Lex would be enough…….but I can’t keep turning my back on the truth.”Clark looks at her confused, “what are you saying?” Lana getting emotional even more responds with, “I’m not marrying Lex. Ok, I don’t have time to explain right now, I’ll meet you at the barn at 5 o’clock.” Clark nods and smiles in understanding what Lana is saying. Then they hear someone coming. “You have to go, I’ll be there………I promise.” Lana then pulls him down for a kiss, a short but sweet kiss. One they haven’t experienced in a while. After pulling away Lana says, “go.” Clark lets go of Lana and walks to the other door and leaves through it just as someone else is coming through the opposite door. Lana turns to see……..Lionel. “Ms. Lang,” Lionel looks at his watch as he walks up to her. “Shouldn’t you be leaving for the church?” He stops in front of Lana waiting for an answer. Lana looks down at her note to Lex. Lionel follows her gaze down to the note. “What’s this?” He leans down to pick it up, Lana try’s to grab it before him but he beats her to it. He brings up so he can look at it. It says: Dear Lex, I’m sorry but I can’t go through with this. He processes then looks back at Lana, “this will destroy Lex.” “Mr. Luthor, I’m sorry but this is none of your business.” She said shaking her head. “Well I’m making it my business; I can’t let you call off the wedding.” He folds up the letter. “Things have changed, and it wouldn’t be fair to Lex to pretend like they haven’t,” she said looking Lionel right in the eye. Lionel realizing what she’s saying says, “You know Clark’s secret don’t you?” Lana looks at Lionel confused. “I’ve been watching you since you started seeing my son and you’ve been getting closer and closer to finding out the SHOCKING truth about Clark Kent.” He says this as he walks behind Lana. “What a surprise it must have been to realize that Clark has kept up the deception for so long; RIGHT under your nose.” As Lana turns around to face him she says, “He was trying to protect me.” Lionel smiles at that comment. “And he’s not going to let you threaten me now.” She said with anger in her voice. “You think Clark’s invincible, it’s not so, like every hero he has an akiles heel, a weakness………I know what it is.” He says glaring at Lana. “And I know that it could kill him.” Lana doesn’t believe him, “no…….you could never hurt him.”“Would you bet,” he pauses. “Clark’s life on that,” he looks at Lana reaction. “I give you my word Ms. Lang, if you don’t honor the promise that you’ve made to my son or I find out that you’ve told anyone about this conversation……I will kill CLARK……KENT.”Lana looks at him scared, like she’s about to cry then Lionel walks past her and back out the door he came through. She sits back down in the chair she was sitting in before and starts crying. “What can I do? Do I marry Lex to protect Clark and live a loveless life or do I be with the man that I love and would truly be happy with?” Tears are now streaming down her cheeks. She wipes them away with her hand. “I don’t know what to do. I love Clark so much yet if I be with him he could die. Does that mean I marry Lex just to keep Clark from dieing? I just don’t know.” -Church-Almost everyone is seated and Chloe and Lex are walking to the altar. Lex asks Chloe, “She didn’t tell you anything?”Chloe responds, “No she just vanished, she won’t answer her cell, I’m sorry Lex I don’t know what to say.” And as they are walking past Lionel Chloe says, “I’m sure there’s an explanation for all of this. “Chloe walks to her position and Lex walks up to the priest. “Father, did Lana say anything to you, anything that might have indicated……..”“Be patient Lex; give her a little more time……wedding day jitters are to be expected.” Father answers Lex. Then Lex looks from Father to the crown and smiles then looks at the doorway where Lana should be walking through. He looks over at his father and he smiles. The crowd starts to wonder where she is and they start talking amongst themselves. Then Lex says to himself, “She’s not coming.” Kent Farm – LoftClark is holding a wedding ring, “I’ve loved you since the first moment I saw you………………………………will you marry me?” He says smiling. Shelby looks at him like he’s crazy. “It’s too corny huh?” Then he gets up and sits on the couch looking at his watch. Clark looks at his watch one more time and realizes she’s not coming. So he grabs his jacket and walks down the stairs. When he walks out of the barn he see’s a crimson colored Jeep pulling into the driveway. Instantly a smile covers his face. She pulls up and parks then she gets out of her vehicle. “I almost thought you weren’t coming.” He said relived that she came.“Yah, sorry about that,” she said looking into his eyes. “I would have been here he a while ago but I had to think about things after Lionel came to speak to me after you left.” “What did he say?” Clark asked confused. “Let’s go up to the loft, I’ll explain it to you.” She said as she walked past him for the stairs up to the loft. He followed her up there and sat down on the couch next to her. “Lana, what happened?” He said concerned. “Well, Lionel pretty much threatened me after you left and because of this threat I almost went to the church and married Lex.” She said remembering how she felt when Lionel told her that he knew how to kill Clark. “What did he say that would make you want to leave me and marry Lex?” “He said that he would kill you if I didn’t marry Lex.” She now was tearing up. Clark gets closer to Lana and pulls her in for a hug. “Don’t worry Lana, he won’t kill me.” Lana pulled back still crying a bit, “but he said he knew your weakness and that he would kill you with it.” “Lana,” he looks into her eyes, “I’m not going to die, we’re finally back together, and nothing will tear us apart………not even my secret.” Lana realizing that he doesn’t know that she knows some of his secret tells him, “Clark, I have to tell you something.” What is it? Did Lionel do something else? No, Lionel has nothing to do with this,” she said shaking her head. Clark, I know part of your secret.” You do?” He says confused, how? I was the one that locked Chloe in the wine cellar. I watched from behind a few rows of wine and saw you break off the handle, the door and then melt the hinges back together. I also heard you and Chloe talking about me.” So that’s why you didn’t want to know my secret when I came into the library to see you. Yah, I just wanted to be with you.” Lana said putting her hands on his face.I love you Clark Kent.” Lana pulled his face closer and kissed him. They pull away and Clark responds with, “I’ve always loved you Lana. Now we can be together, I won’t let Lionel ruin this for us and to make our coming back together even more special I have something to ask you.” What would that be Clark?Well if you don’t mind I would like to take you to the Fortress in order to do that. But first we need to handle a few things got it Lana-El absoultely Kal-EL. Then come on babe do you trust me? A hundred percent then go change into a spy outfit or something mournful just trust me. You got it Kal-El alright Lana-El. She chose a black sheath dress and put her hair in a tasteful bun and put on matching black calf length stilleto heeled boots. --ChurchIt’s now 5:30pm; Lionel realizes that Lana has gone to Clark, and just as Lex announces that the wedding is called off, Lionel leaves the building to go a kill Clark Kent. Lionel gets into his car, “I guess Lana wants Clark to die today.” He smirks, “well I guess that’s her choice but I thought she would be smarter than that.” He gets out of the parking lot and drives down the road to the Kent Farm. Driving down the road at way 3X’s the speed limit. Jor-el is inside his mind thinking about what he could do to stop Lionel from killing his only son. Lionel doesn’t even realize Jor-el is in his head. Jor-el can only think of one plan, and he sees the Kent Farm coming so I guess he is going to have to do it, it’s the only way. Kent Farm – LoftClark and Lana are sitting on the couch staring into eachother’s eyes when suddenly They both jump up, “What was that?” Clark said confused. They both run downstairs, outside the barn to see a car totally totaled on fire in the field across the road. “Oh my god,” Lana said shocked putting her hand to her mouth.“Lana, call 911,” Clark said as he ran to go see who it was that crashed. Lana runs into the house and calls 911. They pick up immediately, “Hi, we need an ambulance to the Kent farm, someone totaled their car and it’s on fire, hurry.” We’ll be there in 5 minutes, the man on the other end answered. Clark runs over to the car in normal speed so that if the person is still alive they don’t see him using his powers. Once there the body of the person driving the car was lying on the road upside down. Clark walked over and flipped the person over and it was………….Lionel. Clark felt for a pulse but he couldn’t find one. This looked exactly like when Lana had been hit by that bus and was lying on the road dead. Then the ambulance showed up. The paramedics pulled out all their equipment and hurried over to Lionel and Clark. Please move Clark, your not needed here anymore we have it under control. Ok, he said standing back, The paramedics pick up Lionel and take him to the hospital. Once the ambulance is out of sight, Clark super speeds back to the house. “Clark, who was it? Who flipped their car?” She asked worried. It was Lionel. Lionel, she said confused. Why would he………..oh wait he must have been coming to kill you. She jumps into his arms to hug him. Oh no, I told you Clark he’s going to kill you.doesn’t matter now. What, why doesn’t it matter Clark, he’s going to kill you after he gets out of the hospital. She said starting to get emotional. No he’s not Lana he’s dead she looks at him confused. He’s dead, I felt for a pulse before the paramedics got there, there wasn’t one. What, Lionel’s dead? She asked as if not believing Clark. Yup as dead as you can be. He can’t kill me now we can be together without having to worry anymore.” Clark says looking at Lana. Then he pulled her close for a hug.Clark I’m glad we can finally be together without having to worry about Lionel but it just feels so weird because he died.” She says starting to tear up a little. I know Lana, but it was his fault he was so determined to kill me that he probably didn’t see what hit him.” He said kissing the top of her head. Then they walked over to the couch and Clark lit up the fireplace. They sat there and watched the fire.HospitalLionel is in the emergency room and lots of doctors and nurses are around him trying to get him to come back to life. Then Lex comes in, is my father alright?” He sees him and then runs up to him. Dad, dad, wake up, Lex said crying now. Then nurses grabbed him and dragged him out of the room.A half an hour later the doctors and nurses come out of the room. Lex runs up to them, is he ok, can I see him Lex said panicked. Lex, I’m sorry, your dad he didn’t make it. The doctor said sympathetically. No, he can’t be dead, Lex said confused. He is, I’m sorry for your loss. Lex backed up into a chair and slumped down into to it. He whispers to himself, how could this happen to me, I lose Lana and my dad all in the same day. Is someone out to get me or something? Then he realizes he never asked where he crashed. He gets up and runs to the doctor. Where did he crash? Umm..I think the paramedics said right out by the Kent farm. Thank you, then Lex turns and says quietly, Clark. I’ll get you for this. First you take Lana and now my dad dies right by your house. You will pay for what you’ve done to me. Chapter 2 – Questions Answered --------------------------------------------------Luthor Cemetery------------------------------------------------------------------------------------5 days later, it’s the day of Lionel’s funeral. Lex is standing in front of Lionel’s tombstone which is just a little bit taller than him. There are lots of flowers surrounding his tombstone in honor of the infamous Lionel Luthor. Not many people showed up for the funeral but Lex didn’t think there would be since not many people liked him. Martha Kent wasn’t even there even though they were getting closer each day. Lex didn’t know why she wasn’t there but he was sure to find out. Thinking back to the past, Lex really wasn’t sure what to believe. I mean first somehow he survived driving off a bridge. And from that he became friends with Clark Kent. As time went by watching Clark pine over Lana and then finally get together, it sickened him. Watching his best friend fall for this beautiful girl, he wondered what he was doing, why the famous Lex Luthor was helping someone fall in love with a girl that he loves. It didn’t make any sense, what was he doing. Then one day he lost his best friend but he didn’t care now his obstacle was out of the way. He could put together a plan to break up Clark and Lana so that he could swoop in to save the day and for once be called a hero. And his plan worked Simone had broken up Clark and Lana. Not long after that he was with the love of his life, he fooled her so much as to letting her think that she was pregnant. But in reality she wasn’t, it was just another pawn in getting her to marry him. For some reason though, she didn’t get married to him and he doesn’t know why, that’s another thing that he is going to find out. He surely thought that his plan would work. Slipping drugs into her tea to make her think she was pregnant. When really nothing was growing, it was all a lie. He really thought he had her but for some reason it didn’t work. 5 days ago, the day of their wedding she didn’t show up, all his hard work in planning for that day all went down the drain and the one to blame is Clark Kent. He’s the only one that could have done it………….Lex………Lex someone in the crowd said. Lex snapped out of his thought, Yes. Aren’t you going to say a few words about your father? Oh, yes I minus well.” Lex cleared his throat as he thought about what to say. Lionel Luthor was a strong willed person, he wasn’t that great of a father but because of him I am the man I am today. He went through some tough times in the past; he went to jail, survived a liver disease, was in Belle Reeve but he pushed through all that. He taught me that money is power without it, you’ll have nothing. So when you think of Lionel Luthor, you should think money and power because that’s all he’s ever been his whole life. I will always think about my father for the person he will is and that is power.” Lex pauses as everyone thinks about what he just said. “Now I must leave, I hope you all say your farewells and come back whenever you like.” Lex walks away back to the mansion. Lana walks up to the front in a catwalk way making eveyone stare at her and she says.

Lionel Luthor was a man of his own someone he only himself could pull off bad things. He used Morgan Edge to kill his parents to making Lex Luthor Evil. He threatened to kill Clark and he died because of it somehow carma always pays back . So listen he taught nothing but evil and htrew it off at other’s making bad plans. So listen now and carefully the Luthor’s are bad people and I almost became one may he go to hell and never live in peace. Lana blew a kiss at his grave and dropped a red rose then with her lipstick she hated in blood red she wrote here rest the first devil at the feet of many man and woman may he never rest in peace. Clark stood up and said Ladies and Gentleman the Luthors are bad people to no end and this is my one and only Love so I suspect that you see she was a victim of both Luthors she actually had to live with one. I’m disgusted withthem and may they never rest in peace I promise that as me Kal-El and her Lana-El we will do everything in our power to stop him. With that the young beautiful couple said goodbye and Clark raced Lana hoem ot the farm where he gathered all the rest of her stuff and dropped it then raced to her side and he lifted her off the floor into his arms and cradled her ot his chest. And held her as she sobbed and sobbed her just wiped her tears away and said I promise I will always be your partner and love so stay by my side and we will be together. Luthor Mansion Lex walks into his study and sits down at his desk. He flips up his laptop and looks at the screen. He then opens up his file called: Payback. Inside this file, there are hundreds of files, each having its own purpose in his devilish plans. The one that he opened is called: Clark. As he is looking over his research on Clark, he notices on his computer that his camera’s spotted Clark in the mansion the day of his wedding. He was in the wine cellar than in his study. First he pulls up the footage from the wine cellar and notices that Lana is behind some wine watching Clark. He thinks to himself ‘why would Lana watch Clark in the wine cellar? Who cares minus well just switch cameras, nothing interesting is going to happen here.’ Then just before he changes camera’s he see’s Clark rip the door of its hinges and out comes Chloe. His eyes shot open as he bent closer to the screen. “How did he do that?” He continued watching as Clark welded the door back on its hinges by using his eyes. “So that’s Clark’s secret, very interesting.” He then switches cameras to the study. He notices Lana sitting in a chair writing a note as Clark is standing in the doorway. Then he hears Clark say that he is going to tell her his secret and she refuses. Then he sees her kiss Clark, “what!!!! How could she do this to me after all I did for her? This is how she repays me by kissing another man!” Lex stands up and exits the room to go have fencing match with to let out all his anger before writing up a plan to get them back for what they did to him

He takes her up in his arms and they run to the Kawatchi caves . Clark headed into the caves and Lana trailed along behind him, keeping a safe distance. When Clark reached the main chamber, he pressed his palm to three symbols in succession, and the inner chamber opened. Lana's eyes opened wide."I don't remember this place ever being here. How'd you find it?" Lana asked."It was left here for me. It's sort of a transportation portal, Lana. I'll never forget the first time I showed it to you and took you to the fortress," Clark told her, a smile spreading over his face. I dream about it often.""What? What are you talking about Clark? I've never been here before - nor to the fortress," Lana said, looking at Clark strangely."Yes, you have, Lana. It's a long story...and it's complicated. I'll fill you in later. Right now, we should get on with what we came here for." Clark took the disc from his pocket and moved close to the octagonal table. "Okay, Lana, come join me. We have to do this together." He held his hand out to her. "Do you trust me?" he asked. Lana nodded and moved slowly toward Clark I don't think you need the gloves and scarf this time, Lana. Are you cold?" Clark asked.Lana shook her head. "No, cold doesn't bother me anymore."Clark smiled, lifted Lana into his arms, then looked up, concentrating. After a moment they began to fly straight upwards. Lana turned her face toward Clark's and smiled widely, unable to believe they were actually flying. They flew to a platform on the top of a huge column of ice, high above the floor of the Fortress. Clark set Lana down and she stepped away from him, looking around in awe."This isn't the first time you've done that, is it?" Lana asked as she looked around in awe."We've done this once before," he answered. "But you don't remember. That's my fault, Lana. I was so stupid. But now we have another chance. I promise, I won't screw it up this time."Clark held out his hand, showing Lana the lump of coal he had collected when he'd dashed home. He clenched his fist around it, and Lana watched in amazement as a golden light shone out from between his fingers as he squeezed it tightly. He opened his hand then, and blew away the coal dust, revealing a perfect diamond. Lana looked at it and then at Clark in wonder. Clark smiled as he took out a gold ring band and placed the diamond on top of it, then used his heat vision to solder them together. He then went down on one knee in front of Lana, holding the ring up. Lana Elizabeth Lang I promise ot be everything you want and a perfect husbannd,mate,partner I promise ot support you and live with you for eternity. Will you marry me? Lana looked down at him, overcome with emotion. A smile quickly graced her face as she extended her left hand toward him."Yes, Clark Kent there is nothing more in the world I’d rather do than be your wife she said as she shed a tear he wiped it away. Clark slipped the ring onto her finger, then stood and lifted Lana into his arms, spinning around with her as she wrapped her legs around him.When he brought them to a stop, Lana caressed his face, relishing in her ability to be able to touch him again. She then lowered her lips to his once again, sealing their promise with another lingering kiss. Clark and Lana walk into the Talon hand in hand past all the people staring at them. They walk past all them up to the counter and order to coffees to stay. All around them there are people whispering about them and Clark can hear what they are all saying. Some are saying, “wow, look at that Clark and Lana are back together. I wonder when that happened?” Others are saying, “is that an engagement ring I see? When could of that happened. Her wedding to Lex was only a couple of days.” Clark turned to Lana and whispered to her, “I think we should just announce our engagement here.” “Why?” “Well everyone in this room is wondering if we are or not. I think we should just tell them.” “Well I guess we could, as long as I’m with you I don’t care what we do.” “Ok,” Clark turned to the crowd. “For all of you that have been wondering about the engagement ring on Lana’s finger well it is from me. We’re engaged, and we’re getting married in a couple months once we get everything set up.” The crowd takes it in for a moment. Then everyone in the room begins to clap. Then instantly spread a smile across their faces. They got their coffee and sat down at a table. “See Lana I told you everyone would accept us.” “I had a feeling they would because I could tell whenever I walked into a room that everyone was wondering what I was doing with Lex. I’m glad that’s in the past, now we can look to the future.” Clark and Lana sat there drinking their coffees as towns folk would come up to them and ask them how it happened and all kinds of things about them getting back together.30 minutes later they have finished their coffees and walk upstairs to Chloe and Lois’s apartment to announce the great news. They knock on the door and Chloe comes to the door. “Hey guys, what are you doing here?” “We’ve come here to tell you and Lois something very big that happened the day of the big Luthor wedding.” Clark said very happy. “Okay, come in,” they walk in and Chloe closes the door. “Lois Clark and Lana are here to tell us something, you might want to come out here for a minute.” She yelled to Lois who was in the bathroom. Lois walks out of the bathroom and sees Clark and Lana, “Hey Smallville, hey Lana, what’s the big news?” “Well, we got engaged.” Lana announced. “What, you can’t be serious?” Chloe said shocked and happy all at the same time.“Good for you Smallville, you finally told her your true feelings; took you long enough.” Lois said hitting him on the shoulder. “Thanx Lois,” Clark smirked at her. “Chloe I am purely serious, would I lie to you about something like this?” Lana said ecstatic. For the next hour Lana, Chloe and Lois were talking about the ring and how it happened.“Well Lana we should probably go, it’s getting late.” Clark said looking at his watch then helping Lana onto her feet. “I guess you’re right we should be going home now, bye guys talk to you later.” Lana said as she and Clark waked out the door. Then they walked hand in hand down the steps out of the Talon into an ally. Once the coast was clear Clark picked Lana up and super sped back to the farm. But what they didn’t know was that Lex was in his car right next the ally when he saw them disappear into thin air. Wow, it’s going to take some time to get used to that.” Lana said a little dizzy. Clark noticed this and set her down on a stool. “Lana you’ll get used to it, don’t worry.” “I know Clark; I just hope that the baby isn’t getting hurt every time you do that.” Lana said as she put her hand on her stomach. “Do you want me to check on the baby?” Clark asked. “How could you check how the baby is doing, we’d need to go to the hospital to do that?” Lana asked confused. “Right you don’t know all of my powers, from what you told me 2 days ago, you know that I have super speed, invincibility, heat vision and strength. I also have the powers x-ray vision and super hearing.” “Wow, now I understand why you could check the baby. Well I don’t see why you can’t unless this x-ray vision is painful?” “Trust me Lana you won’t feel a thing.” “Okay Clark, I trust you.” Clark focuses his vision on her stomach and notices that there is nothing in there, no sign of a baby anywhere. “Lana, how long have you been pregnant for?” “4 months why is there something wrong?”“Lana, there isn’t anything in there, Lex was lying to you, your not pregnant.” “What that can’t be, the test said I was.” “I don’t know what to say Lana, but there isn’t anything in there.” Lana begins to cry. Clark walks up to her and hugs her very close. “Clark, how could he have done that to me?” “I don’t know Lana,” He says as he continues hugging Lana. “Clark I’m going to go to bed.” She says still crying. “Okay Lana, I’ll come with you to bed. No sense you going through this all alone.” “Thanx Clark,” then they walked upstairs to his room and undressed into their PJ’s, and then crawled into bed. Clark kissed her on the top of her head and then held her tight as they fell asleep in each other’s arms.
